Lead a team of Consultants and effectively manage multiple research projects across industries and regions.

Interact with clients to understand project requirements, design research scope and logical structure of research output.

Provide comprehensive project brief to Consultants and advise on research methodologies.

Help consultants to use strategic tools and techniques to analyse findings and generate insights.

Provide content injection and ensure appropriate level of depth and coverage of research.

Help consultants build recommendations / conclusions for the project.

Generate high quality research deliverables in comprehensive PowerPoint, Word, or Excel formats.

Provide constructive feedback to consultants / team members.

Continuously seek feedback from Manager and Clients to further improve on deliverables.

Assist manager in recruitment, training new recruits and business development initiatives.

Business research / consulting experience (preferably 4-6 years).

Experience in industry analysis, in-depth company analysis, benchmarking, financial modelling, point of views, competitive intelligence, strategy formulation, etc.

MBA from a leading Indian / International business school, or similar advanced degree.

Have a strong record of leadership in a work setting / manage a team of 5-10 people.

Project management and client management experience.

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to coach others in a team.

Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

Ability and willingness to work on short deadlines and handle multiple projects at a time.

Good authoring and proof-reading ability.

Excellent English (written and verbal).

Strong MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Acquainted with databases like Factiva, Bloomberg, Onesource, Thomson, et al.
Desirable: -

Sector expertise (Retail, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Energy, Chemicals, Telecom, IT / ITeS, Pharmaceuticals, etc.).

Management principles and their use.

Excellent awareness of cross-cultural working relationships.
