Preparation of financial statements and legal entity MIS and reporting.

Month-end procedures for sub-ledger balances in the GL; processing gross-ups / net-downs for Inventory, Financing, Derivatives and customer receivables / payables; ensuring all inter-company receivables / payables balances agree and eliminate; and reviewing support for other assets and other liabilities balances.

Finalising of the Local GAAP Financial Reports for entities as applicable.

Needs to understand the Business and Structure of the Legal Entities assigned.

Production of the monthly- and year-end US GAAP Financial Statements. This includes P&L, BS and Off BS reporting.

Liaising with the entity regulatory reporting and consolidation group, and having an understanding of the regulatory reporting and consolidation process.

Ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger and other reporting applications including managing the SOX compliance.

Controllers are required to certify that the balance-sheet is prepared on a basis consistent with US GAAP, is complete, and is free from material mis-statement.
