Take initiatives to support and co-ordinate with private bankers on client portfolios to identify opportunities for the desk, the activities ranging from scoping requirements and matching them with solutions to even negotiating and structuring complex credit transactions.

Work closely with internal financing business units to find, implement, and monitor credit solutions, and thus, manage and own the Client Credit Relationship.

Be responsible for arranging the negotiation and documentation / execution of agreements (technical / legal) with clients - working closely with internal / external legal team.

Coordinate the creation of credit lines and be responsible for doing preliminary risk analysis and filtering for deals that may come across the desk.

Need to liaise with colleagues across various divisions, locations, and functional areas.

Should preferably be an MBA in Finance or a Chartered Accountant.

Should have a reasonably high degree of financial acumen, possessing the ability to read and analyze financial statements with some idea of financial risk management.

Should have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player with the ability to integrate the various activities / responsibilities that require close collaboration with other departments.

Have some knowledge of portfolio management techniques and be able to appreciate the logic behind structured financial products.

Be analytical, strategic and commercial in approach.
