Job Description:

Role: - The role involves interaction with various functional groups and customers during the project lifecycle on a continuous basis with an objective of delivering quality software solution within the defined organisational processes.
Responsibilities: -

  • Preparation of Project Plan (HLPP).

  • To plan and organize the project activities - including resource requirements (what & when).

  • To co-ordinate with Technical Manager, Practice Head and project team members for timely execution of the project.

  • To communicate and co-ordinate with other functional groups and stake-holders of the project.

  • To monitor and be fliexible to changes in line with the client requirements through the PM Cycle.

  • Preparing Project Status Reporting & Forecasting.

  • Ensure that conflicts within the team and cross-functional groups are resolved during the lifecycle.

  • To ensure alpha & beta level testing which covers Unit, Integration and System Testing is done to the satisfaction of the customer.

  • Ensure that Verification and Validation at each and every stage of the project.

  • Understanding Customer Queries and providing solutions through out the project life cycle.

  • Coaching, Mentoring and Training Project Team on an on-going basis.

  • To deliver the project within the budget.
    Deliverables / KRAs: -

  • Implementation of projects within the schedule, budgeted cost and efforts sold.

  • Execution of projects with less than 5% error / bug-free.

  • To ensure that non-compliances (during the various quality audits) are kept at minimum.

  • Effective ustilisation of resources.

  • Monitoring and reviewing of plans on a continous basis during the project lifecyle.

  • Tracks progress against the plan and adjust the schedules accordingly.

  • Ensure that customer complaints are kept at the minimum after the project execution.

    Candidate Profile:

    Education: - B.E. / B.Tech. (Computer Science / IT / Electronics & Communication) OR MCA OR B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA. MBA would be an added advantage.
    Experience: - 7-10 Years.

  • Managing projects in Contact Center / Telecom Domain (IPT/IPCC) will be an added advantage.

  • Should have managed multiple projects simultaneously.
    Technical Skills: -

  • Should be capable of handling projects in Microsoft / Sun Java technology.

  • Very good knowledge in MS project or iPlan.

  • Hands-on knowledge on estimation methodologies.

  • Exposure to ISO/CMM process will be a distinct advantage.

  • Knowledge of Avaya IR / AIC / CTI / IV / Dialogic will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of Contact Center / Telecom industry will be an added advantage.
    Size of the Job: -

  • To handle a team size of 2-10 members.

  • To handle multiple projects simultaneously.
