You should be an MBA with 6+ years of experience. You would have worked with a leading Big Four consulting firm, or a financial services advisory firm, or in the business consulting arm of an IT major, or in the strategy group of a large conglomerate.
You would have rich experience in studying and analyzing industries, doing in-depth company and sectoral research, running process mapping, transition and improvement engagements, defining and articulating business strategies, conducting feasibility studies and preparing business cases. You would have strong exposure to business process mapping and process improvement.
While a good understanding of technology is essential, you would have comfort with the larger technology trends and how they impact business on a global scale. You would have been a team leader / project manager for business consulting, process transition engagements and would have worked across sectors, whilst having experience in atleast one domain.
Needless to mention, you would have excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept in problem solving and be able to work independently. Comfort with ambiguity, a high degree of proactiveness and flexibility to effectively meet business challenges are a definite need. You would be able to run engagements independently and are effective in establishing and maintaining relationships with clients across the hierarchy spectrum. You would like to be based in Bangalore and work on global consulting engagements in Europe and the US, as well as support engagements working from India.
