Job Description:

Main Purpose of Role: -

  • To provide high quality support across Account & Bid Support Services as directed by the Account & Bid Support Stream Manager. In particular, you will be working in the Proposal Studio Team and on success stories.

  • To ensure any recommendations for services in the stream are fed back to the appropriate service leads and the Account & Bid Support Stream Manager and implemented, if appropriate.

  • To ensure that the UK WinCentre is kept informed of the range of global / regional KM and Research Services and Tools provided out of India.
    Key Responsibilities: -

  • Work as part of the UK Proposal Studio Team providing support to bids. Liaise with bid teams to complete standard responses to proposals and help to craft responses to some of the less standard responses when appropriate. Use should be made of Capgemini’s knowledge bases, in particular the Standard Bid Content (SBC) Repository, Capability Statement, Credential and Proposals Indices.

  • Support members of the Proposal Studio and Bid Management Team by searching for and providing credentials and other material for opportunities.

  • Act as a response editor on bids, collating responses from bid team members, tracking progress and recommending updates to section authors to refine the response document.

  • Facilitate the creation, approval and storage of success stories (similar to the Global Success Stories being produced by Global Marketing) for the UK Business. This will involve authoring success stories as well as reviewing work completed by the business.

  • Supporting other initiatives across the WinCentre Services Teams as necessary when requested by the Account & Bid Support Stream Manager.

  • Contribute to the fulfilment of the WinCentre Account & Bid Support Stream Objectives.

  • Contribute to the fulfilment of the WinCentre Staff Responsibilities and Objectives.

    Candidate Profile:

    Essential: -

  • MBA with relevant experience.

  • Excellent English (written and verbal).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work both as an individual and in a team.

  • Excellent awareness of cross-cultural working relationships.

  • Flexibility in work timings (due to time differences).

  • Experience in working with project teams remotely.

  • Strong authoring and proof-reading ability.

  • Ability and willingness to work to tight time-scales.

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Desirable: -

  • Demonstrated track record of successful proposal development / understanding of the process involved in developing a proposal.

  • Knowledge of the various Capgemini knowledge repositories.

  • Good understanding of UK Capgemini Sectors and Solution Centres.

  • Good understanding of the Capgemini Sales process and related areas.
