Responsibilities: -

  • Assessing potential investment opportunities.

  • Understanding industry trends.

  • Valuation of companies for past and projected financial and business growth.

  • Financial modeling and investment scenario analysis, and supporting senior managers in this role.

  • Conducting due diligence.

  • Understanding legal issues in investment structuring.

  • Providing support to portfolio companies.

  • Working closely with portfolio companies to guide their business strategies.

  • Monitoring closely the progress of companies in the portfolio.

    Company Profile:

    The company is a mid-stage, growth-oriented private equity fund with $ 200 Million invested in Indian companies. The company invests in mid-size companies with strong management teams and which are operating in high growth consumer or industrial markets. The company's investors are long-term international institutions including fund of funds, banks, corporations, and family offices. The fund and its portfolio companies are advised by an experienced investment team, which has 60 years of cumulative investment experience, and has invested across sectors and investment cycles since 1990.

    Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates with graduate degree in engineering will be preferred.

  • Should be from top management colleges (IIMs, ISB-Hyderabad, JBIMS-Mumbai, XLRI-Jamshedpur, FMS-Delhi, SPJIMR-Mumbai, or equivalent international schools).

  • 4-6 years of post B-school work experience.

  • Must be a well-rounded professional with knowledge of industry trends.

  • Should have investment experience in the Indian market.

  • Should have experience in private equity / venture capital / investment banking / equity research / investment banking KPOs.
