  • Management graduates having 7-10 years of experience in solution selling.

  • Should have handled a region independently.

  • Should have proven track record of working as part of a team - aligning with pre-sales and delivery teams as required.

  • Should have proven track record of meeting numbers.

  • Should show larger understanding of domain in which primary experience is in. Should be networked in that domain and aware of market dynamics, numbers, and competitive dynamics and so on.

  • Good communication, articulation, presentation skills.

  • Selling skills - look for some formal exposure to sales training modules as part of career. Should be a persuasive sales person with good relationship building skills.

  • Ability to understand markets and customer requirements and tailor sales approach and strategy accordingly.

  • Self-starter - motivated and high energy individual.

  • Ability to operate as an individual contributor, and independently without being dependent on coaches beyond a point.
