Manage and deliver large, complex research programs involving - identify key business issues, conduct world class research, and propose innovative business solutions and technology solutions for companies in the Financial Services sector.

Develop research proposals aligned with Financial Services practice needs, analyze existing academic and industry research related to the research topics, design research programs, studies involving primary and secondary research methods.

Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research including, case studies, surveys, senior executive interviews, complex data analysis to form or support the hypotheses.

Write world-class research reports, case studies, view-points and publication in leading management and industry journals.

Develop presentations summarizing research projects and programs and deliver briefings to executives and practitioners in internal and external events.

Manage day-to-day relationships with industry leads, client partners and practitioner from Financial Services practice.

Work closely with Deloitte Research Director on strategy and program management.

Coach junior team members to conduct world-class quality research.

Ph.D. from US institutions in Economics / Finance will be strongly considered.

Bachelor's / Master’s Degree specialization in Economics / Engineering with MBA (Finance) from top-tier schools.

An ideal candidate would have written publications, articles, authored white papers, abstracts, etc., in world-class journals, publications and books.

Candidate must demonstrate good understanding of the Financial Services Industry.

A good understanding of top management issues - customer strategy, merger & acquisition strategy, supply chain optimization, investment prioritization, financial & performance management, IT strategy, public policy, and more will be an advantage.

Experience with industry regulations and awareness of public policy related to the Financial Sector will be an advantage.

Good statistics and data analysis skills preferably experience in Excel / SPSS.

1.5 years - 5.5 years business research working experience. Strong track record with previous employment, preferably business research experience with consulting, research, investment banking and KPO companies.
