Responsibilities: -
  • Establish strong relationships with the Offering leadership to continuously understand Research and Capability Development needs & requirements, and recalibrate the Offering Investment Plan as required to meet business needs, drive sponsorship and serve as catalyst in developing global perspective on approaches to content-related priorities (e.g., white papers, case studies).
  • Set strategy, priorities, goals and annual investment budget for assigned content area (s) / key offering(s) in support of the High Performance agenda. The Offering Investment strategy will encompass the development and oversight of differentiating offerings, assets, alliances and relationships. 'Traditional' knowledge and learning enablers will be developed and leveraged to help build the required knowledge and skills (e.g., white papers, case studies, engagement summaries, sales and delivery tools, training courses, research studies, competitive analysis, apprenticeship programs, etc.).
  • Lead overall program management activities associated with the development of assets and offerings, including resourcing of team, creation of workplan, and management of the budget.
  • Manage offering and asset portfolio, ensuring integration with industry / growth platform foundation offerings and business strategies as well as geographic business strategies. Ensure offerings / assets are adequately reflected in company asset inventories / catalogues (KX, IPAMS).
  • Provide innovative vision in support of the High Performance agenda, for the gap closure program (knowledge assets, professional networks, etc.), based on a deep understanding of the organization’s strategies, needs and requirements.
  • Act as central point of coordination with Marketing, Sales Development and Capability Development teams to execute the Offering Investment in the context of the High Performance agenda. Includes maintaining continuous communication / alignment to drive enablement of the key offering(s).
  • Lead effective delivery and evaluation strategies to gauge Offering Investement program effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Oversee Intellectual Property strategy and ensure policies are understood and are being upheld for deployed-to organization assigned content team.
  • Integrate alliances and/or align vendors within offerings and work on operational alliance management. Working with Sales Development, recommend new alliances and/or vendors as part of our differentiating position.
  • Ensure proper integration and cross leveraging of relevant offering and asset across Growth Platforms and Operating Groups.
  • Design and implement community of practice strategies that foster take-up of solutions and assets, enable specialization, and accelerate sales & delivery skills. Includes participation in expert networks, and publish / stimulate utilization of experts.
  • Lead development of channel strategies and communication strategies for all types of knowledge items and assets to ensure effective dissemination of relevant content.
  • Ensure the development, customization, and sourcing of content for learning and capability development programs, support goals of the Offering Investment strategy. Provide expert input into training curriculum design and development.

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive consulting experience.
  • Specific R&D experience will be preferable - qualitative (research portals, research people network, etc.) and quantitative (statistical methods, etc.).
  • Experience in a consulting firm is a must.
  • Global exposure and knowledge of global markets is a must-have.
  • Consulting or functional experience in sales process design or re-engineering; sales technology implementation; margin optimization methods.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Experience working with 'C' level executive clients.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 B-school.
