Create, develop and deliver strategic innovation projects that will create superior and sustainable competitive advantage for the organization locally and globally.
1. Identify and prioritize New platform/New need state opportunities on various New Business Development & initiatives over the start timeframe .
Develop Category per caps with the right marketing/Innovation strategies.
Work with global R&D to pilot and commercialize a disruptive business model innovation charter
Identify possible acquisitions which are in sync with strategic plans
2. Design strategy and implement new platform/new need state opportunities on various New Business Development & category initiatives over the start timeframe
Provide direction on how to meet consumer needs, differentiate and succeed in each new platform area/new need state based on analysis n insights
Develop clear product development briefs on each of the identified opportunity areas and guide product and concept development to meet the needs
Take projects to incubation (including initial commercialization)
3. Continuously evolve and structure the NBD, Innovation role and process in the organization, and streamline its integration within the India category BU system.
4. Establishment of an Innovation Hub
Develop 3rd party capability to tap into cutting edge innovation tools
Build a network for partners to make India a centre for Innovation excellence along with Marketing and Global Innovation team
Identifying technologies, applications and business models to support innovation.
