The Indian State and central governments are looking to leverage Information, Communicaiton and Technology (ICT) as a significant enabler in their endeavours. India\'s National eGovernance Plan (NeGP) has paved the way for a systematic, wide-scale implementation of eGovernance across the country and has been successful in drawing attention in the country towards better governance using technology. KPMG in India has aligned itself to the NeGP and focuses on eGovernance advisory, as part of the IT Advisory practice, across central and state governments, key government departments and public bodies, helping them overcome the challenges of improving public servies and working towards better governance. As part of the ITA - eGovernance team, successful candidates will be involved in assignments focusing of Business Process Reengineering along with capacity building and program management as team leaders aimed at supporting the objectives of the practice.

Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai

Engineering + MBA or comparable degree

2 - 12 years of relevant experience

Working at Central Govt. Ministries in IT Projects/IT enablement, capacity building projects, automation, IT rollouts

Working at State Govt. level in eGovernance implementation projects like eChaupal, Mission mode projects (MIT), SWAN implementations, state-wise eSchool implementations etc.

Strong Analytical and presentation skills and understanding of the eGovernance areas

Camdidate might work on assignments as team leaders/team members based on their background

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to multitask effectively

Project Management exposure will be desirable. Exposure with entities like World Bank on egovernance projects would be desirable
