  • Underwrite A & H proposals – provide quotations for accidents, health & travel insurance (group)
  • Support the product team to design new products as per the market need (provide the rating and suggest changes in the wording, provide u/w guidelines)
  • Contribute to the standardization of underwriting guidelines
  • Mentoring and training the junior managers
  • Track the loss ratios of all live policies – group and retail
  • Analyze the portfolio, identify the loss making policies and suggest mid term changes / implement changes in the underwriting pattern from the learning as per the experience.
  • Support the sales team while underwriting to ensure to bring in good business at an appropriate price.
