European School of Management and Technology is promoting diversity in its full-time MBA program 2012 by offering several scholarships provided by the school’s founders and benefactors. Interested candidates can still apply to the one-year program beginning in January 2012 at the international business school in Berlin.

Women are especially encouraged to apply.

Partial and full scholarships are available for candidates with the following profiles:

  • Applicants with a strong quantitative background and at least three years’ work experience in a company with a technological focus
  • Citizens of Central and Eastern Europe
  • Candidates from Russia with experience in the energy sector
  • Women from all sectors with exceptionally strong quantitative skills
  • Applicants from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia, and the Americas for regional, merit-based partial scholarships.

“ESMT is looking to attract the brightest global talent to Germany, where opportunities for experienced MBA graduates continue to grow,” commented MBA Program Director Nick Barniville. “We are pleased to be able to provide a broad range of scholarships to study in Berlin and to increase diversity at ESMT.”

ESMT offers its students language courses to help them enter the German labor market. In advance of the program, aspiring MBA students can attend German courses at the Goethe Institute Berlin while getting to know Berlin. In addition, a weekly German course is offered during the MBA program. After graduation, alumni can also take advantage of the cooperation between ESMT and the Goethe Institute. Sixty per cent of ESMT alumni remain and work in Germany after graduation.

Applicants to the ESMT full-time MBA must take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). All accepted candidates are screened for scholarship selection. Deadline for applications to the ESMT full-time MBA program is November 30, 2011.
