1.What do you wish to achieve in life?
My expectations from my own self is to become very rich Physically, Monetarily, Philosophically and Spiritually.

2.Why did you choose MBA as your career path?
It’s a great learning step.
Being an engineer and working in L&T for 3 years, I have experienced the technical aspect of the business.
Now, it is time to learn about handling a business & developing more skills with help of an MBA course in SIMSREE.
Of course becoming eligible for bigger responsibilities to handle is another benefit to it.

3- How did you prepare for CET? Did you join any coaching classes or self study?
I had given CAT for 3 previous years. So my basic preparation was done. Still as the test is very competitive & I wanted to perform at my best I had joined IMS for test series.

4- What are the major differences between CET and CAT? Which one is more difficult?
Yes of course CAT is more difficult. But I feel it’s because of negative marks system which they have. Over all study portions wise CET is 10% easier than CAT. Few topics which are there in CAT like integration, derivatives etc are the crux of CAT where as CET do not give much importance to these subjects.

5- What was your preparation strategy before one month of the exam?
I have only solved papers for my preparation for last 3 years. Time is the most important factor in this exam. So we need to practice more number of exams before finals so that we will be able to give the attempt maximum number of questions.

6- What strategy you chalked down for CET exam day?
I could positively solve the majority of the problems in given stipulated time & then when last few minutes are left then if you just take over all view of question & then try to mark the rest randomly so that you can increase your chances of scoring more. However it is advisable that you do not mark answers randomly without reading the question. Make the random marking by approximating as close to the real answer as possible.

7- CET is often termed as speed exam. Any special strategies for that aspect?
Time handling is the only solution. & that comes with practice.

Were you able to stick to your strategy or there were any last minute changes?
I could stick to my strategies. It the papers which I solved during my last month preparations helped a lot.

List the 5 dos and donts.
Dos: 1. Initially when you start the preparation for exam, at that time we should focus on clearing the basic concepts of the subjects.
2. Then once you are ready with basics then try to solve few papers without time limitations. See to it that you are able to solve every question.
3. After that do solve few CAT papers which will provide you more difficulty level. Let this solving be time based.
4. It is important to give some Mock exams in last few months.
5. Believe in yourself. Concentration & time management is the key to success.

Donts: 1. Do not give any single attention to anything happening around you during exam period.
2. Do not be lazy during practice period.
3. Do not study till last minute before exam as it gives stress & then you won’t be cool enough during actual exam.
4. Do not leave any question unanswered.

8- Where do you place your b-school among its contemporaries?
It’s one of the best institutes in Mumbai. The professors who are taking lectures are of the best qualities. The college is completely student driven & allows you to participate in all college activities which helps to grow the confidence & over all personality. This college is also rated as very good college on India level. I feel lucky enough to get the admission in this college.

9- How was your experience of CET Group Discussion and Personal Interview?
It was one of the best experiences I had. Since I have work experience of 3 yrs, I could answer properly for all topics which were raised along with examples. Due to which I could prove the points which I had raised during GD. Also PI was the wonderful experience. I had to answer my job profile which helped me a lot as I was into marketing & in business development during my 3 years of work experience.
