More Start-ups hire B-School Graduates, Big Brands Cognizant, P&G, Infosys recruit few

The B-Schools Final Placements 2012 was a low affaire as big-wigs of the industry recruited less number of graduates. A large number of new recruiters recorded their presence during campus hiring process.
15 new recruiters recruited at IIM Calcutta, 26 at FMS New Delhi, 22 at JBIMS Mumbai and 33 at Great Lakes Chennai.
A total of 19 per cent drop in hiring by past recruiters was recorded by Economic Times in a study of placement trends at 16 institutes.
As per Economic Times report, online games developer Zynga recruited 16 students from IIMs, including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Kozhikode. It was the first time Zynga recruited at IIMs. E-commerce giant Flipkart picked six grads from IIM-Bangalore.

Big brands such as ICICI Bank, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte and P&G hired fewer numbers this year from the 16 B-schools ET tracked in this study.
