Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Yes, Group Discussion was part of selection process. A topic was given by the Panellists. It was a pleasant Group Discussion, where every one got an opportunity to put forward their views.

Q. What was the topic of your Group Discussion?
A. It was regarding the globalization and its impacts.

Q. The duration of Group Discussion, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. The Group Discussion was for 20 Minutes, with 10 participants and 1 panelist.

Q. Were there any set norms of Group Discussion?
A. We were given two minutes for preparation after the topic was given, and we had discussion for another 15 minutes, and then we all were asked to summarize in the last 5 minutes.

Q. Do write a brief about your Group Discussion experience.
A. It was a great experience, the participants of my Group Discussion were from different backgrounds and, hence, the examples put forward during the discussion were also diverse. I came in the discussion for 2-3 times and the entire lot of participants came in at least once into the discussion. Overall, it was a good Group Discussion, where many wonderful ideas and thoughts were shared.

Q. How was the environment during Group Discussion?
A. It was a decent Group Discussion, everyone got an opportunity to make their point. Though there were many contrasting opinions, the discussion never got over-heated.

Q. Describe your impression of the your team members and overall Group Discussion process?
A. My team members were from diverse fields and also the points put forward by the participants during the Group Discussion were splendid.

Q. How would you rate your performance in Group Discussion?
A. I would give myself rating of 8 out of 10.

Q. Areas where you could have performed better in your Group Discussion?
A. One of my Group Discussion friends came with a view in contrast to mine, as well as most of the other members' views, and so no one took effort to convince him, at least I could have made some effort in that direction.

Q. Give some handy tips regarding Group Discussion that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
A. Mock Group Discussions are the best way to improve your performance because you get feedback from every other member to improve your performance.
