Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Yes.

Q. The duration of Group Discussion, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. Duration - 20 Minutes exactly. Size of Group - 9, Number of Panelists - 3.

Q. What was your Group Discussion topic?
A. HR Case Study on Labour Issues in a Medium Sized Company.

Q. Tell us about your Group Discussion experience.
A. It was quite intimidating to say the least. What else do you expect when you are put in a room with the best minds in the country? But the catch is to put across your point and do that effectively. It's not airtime that matters, it's how you spread your airtime throughout the interview.

Q. How was the environment during discussion?
A. It was really challenging. The task is to keep your cool when you get bogged down by others.

Q. Describe your impression of the your team members and overall Group Discussion process.
A. Let me put it this way, everyone in that group of nine spoke eloquently and lucidly. In my eyes, they were some of the most competent people that I had seen.

Q. Some handy tips that would be of great help.
A. Keep your cool, always. If you are not able to speak up, keep trying. Just keep in mind that it's not how long you speak that matters, it's what you speak.

Q. Were there any set norms of Group Discussion?
A. Not much. But they asked us to be cordial.
