  CA-Mentor

Who could join as CA-Mentor?
Alumni from B-schools, Engineering colleges, other professionals (Chartered Accountant, etc.) already working in the industry. The best persons to become CA-Mentors are the management professionals who have been there, know it all, and now have the experience to help.
All those who have more than 10 years of work experience and want to become Mentor, kindly get in touch with us at editor@coolavenues.com

Why join CA-Mentorship?
Most of us, while studying at the Institute or new into the corporate world, would have at times wished that there were someone whom we could turn to for advice or information, on a wide range of matters; or have more contact with the corporate world. It was difficult to get some questions answered, like:

  • How much importance grades play in certain companies?

  • How to go about doing summer project? What are the do's and dont's?

  • What kind of electives one should take without affecting the short-listing, fundas and personal life!!!

  • What Indian companies one should target for a career in investment banking?

  • Is XML really the in thing?

  • Will the way I have handled this project be good enough for real life implementation in HLL?

  • I've got this great job in the USA, but I know nothing about Philadelphia or life in USA?

CA-Mentorship program seeks to help the students and juniors with answers to their queries.

How Does it work?

Step 1: In order to become a Mentor, kindly click here to fill the form. This would intimate us about your interest.
Step 2: Once this done, you are required to register at CoolAvenues' Forums.
Step 3: After registration, you can start answering queries posted in the forum on a regular basis. (Do not answer queries that are not related to your field or if you are not sure of your answer. The administrator has the authority to delete your response if not found suitable.)
Step 4: The administrator of the forum would keep a close watch for some period of time on the quality and regularity of the responses you have posted.
Step 5: Once the credibility of your responses has been established, your photo-profile would be featured on CoolAvenues' Mentor List.

Why Become a Mentor?

  • You will get an opportunity to guide some of the finest brains in the world.

  • Helping the students and juniors is just one of the many ways you can return the 'debts' of your institute.

  • Being a CA-Mentor should help you in improved networking with students, juniors, and fellow Mentors. You would get the desired exposure and might end up starting your own consultancy.

  • CoolAvenues will feature all its Mentors on the site along with their detailed photo-profile.

But to be fair, joining the Mentor Program comes with certain responsibilities. You will have to answer queries and supplementary queries, even when they sound ridiculous, though you are free to answer or ignore. The program will make some demands on your time.
