Tata Interactive Systems bags 2012 LearnX Asia Pacific award in Best Game or Simulation category
Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) has won the 2012 LearnX Asia Pacific award in the Best Game or Simulation category for developing Philips Outdoor Lighting Controls - an investigation game, where players extensively use the interview format to deduce information about customers and use that information to build compelling solutions.
The game builds on the technical knowledge of sales people.
It gets them to apply their knowledge successfully in sales scenarios that they are likely to encounter. The scenarios allow sales people to identify the different stakeholders involved, ask the right questions, select the right solution and put together a value proposition for the client successfully.
We are happy that the Philips Outdoor Lighting Controls game developed by Tata Interactive Systems has won the LearnX award in the Best Game or Simulation category. The award recognizes our capability to conceptualize and produce quality learning content that helps enable organizational initiatives across industry verticals, says Kshitij Nerurkar, Chief Operating Officer, Tata Interactive Systems. He adds, Serious games involve players in a recreational activity, thereby making them more receptive to the message being delivered. There is often a greater degree of internalization when serious games are used to explain concepts.
