Ramkumar Akella (Ram) has over 20 years of experience in building and running business consulting as well as IT organizations. He has held senior leadership positions in organizations such as Accenture, Infosys, Birlasoft & Datamatics, thereby bringing a unique blend of experience in developing strategies, growing businesses and managing operations with Indian and multinational companies, with global responsibilities.

Till recently, Ram served as the President and COO of Datamatics Global Services, based in Mumbai. Prior to that he ran the European operations of Birlasoft based in London, where he grew the business at a CAGR of over 70% for a period of about 4 years.

Ram was a part of the founding team of Infosys BPO, where he was the head of UK & Europe, based in London. He grew the European business from scratch to a BPO revenue base of over $40 million over 3 years.

Ram's foundation years were at Accenture, where, for a period of over 12 years, he was part of their Strategic Services Practice, responsible for advising and helping client organizations to articulate and implement business & operating strategy.

Ram is an engineer from IIT, Kharagpur and holds an MBA from IIM, Lucknow.
