MDI Gurgaon Surpasses Efforts of Previous Years in Placements 2005 The pharma sector was also well-represented with companies like Ranbaxy, Glenmark, etc., making their presence conspicuous. HR profiles witnessed rapid placements, with companies like William Mercer offering prestigious HR consulting jobs. Other star recruiters on campus included telecom major Bharti, media pro Hewitt Associates and global giant GE. This year, GE India for the first time offered its prestigious FMP and IMLP in MDI.This is indeed a feather in the cap for MDI as an institution, as this offer is made only to the best B-schools in the country. A large number of students were also lapped-up by companies in lateral placements. Several companies like J.P.Morgan, Accenture, Wipro, and GE India made lucrative job offers to MBAS with prior job experience. Certain students were also successful in securing PPOs from GE Money, WeP and Philips, and PPIs from Reckitt Benckiser. The success of Placements is aptly reflected on the faces of the elated students and the proud faculty of MDI, for whom it has been a fitting culmination of their hardwork and arduous efforts. Prof.Shrimali, Chairman, Placements says, "Our students have not just been placed... they have found their dream jobs. The companies, who came for recruitment, were extremely happy with the caliber of our candidates. They came with one or two offers and walked away with six!" One of the students, Ms. Aditi Tandan, who bagged a job offer from Ranbaxy adds, "At MDI, we are always encouraged to believe that we are among the best... and now the results prove it!"
