MICA organises 3 MDPs on Marketing, Branding and Advertising
Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) has announced three short-term Management Development Programmes (MDPs), of four-day duration each, on marketing, branding and advertising to be held in September and October 2012.
Markstrat ( by Dr. Anita Basalingappa), is scheduled from September 25 to 28, Building Powerful Brands for Market Leadership, Profitability and Growth ( by Prof. Prriya Raj) will be held from October 9 to 12 and How To Get The Best Creative Work From Your Advertising Agency ( by Prof. Subhash Tendle) will be organised from October 16 to 19. Conducted by expert faculty from MICA, these MDPs have been well-received by the industry participants.
Markstrat, the first in the series of three MDPs, is a simulation based exercise dealing with the impact of marketing decisions on customers and competitors. Each participant in the programme goes through the experience of decision making and associated risks and return in a marketing organisation, enabling learning from successes and mistakes alike. Markstrat simulation provides a platform to experiment and learn how to increase net brand performance through decision making across product, price, communications and sales force decisions in an organisation.
The MDP on Markstrat is targeted towards middle to senior level managers working in the area of communications, sales, marketing, product management, brand management, marketing research, client servicing and strategic account planning.
The last date for sending nominations for Markstrat is Thursday, September 13, 2012.
