The regulatory environment is changing at a breakneck speed. The responsibilities on professionals both within the organization as well as those external to it has tremendously increased. Newer Accounting standards, IFRS, new auditing standards, newer corporate governance requirements, new reporting formats to MCA etc. How many times has a Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/ Company Secretary(CS) wondered as to how she/ he will keep abreast with the changes, considering the routine challenges and time frames. Even if one wishes to, one does not necessarily know where to go or who to approach. The reason being that on emerging topics no one can claim to be an expert based on just theoretical knowledge. Further, it is critical to appreciate some of the developments on the International front in the accounting space. This programme is specially designed to provide assorted inputs in the area of accounting standards, IFRS and XBRL coupled with the underlying concepts and methodology ensuring a reasonable understanding of the crucial concepts required to appreciate and take informed decisions.
