Objective: The objective is to provide a complete understanding of the importance of high quality corporate financial reporting in improving the quality of corporate governance. The program will enhance the ability of participants to select appropriate accounting policy and to formulate the right strategy for corporate financial reporting.

Contents: The program will cover the following topics: -

Principles of corporate governance, clause 49 of the Listing Agreement, implementation issues; New generation Accounting Standards and comparison of Indian GAAP with IAS and US GAAP; Voluntary disclosure; Issues in formulating strategy for corporate financial reporting; and Trends in corporate financial reporting.
