Programme Overview: Development and prosperity of a nation, is the result of a series of successfully managed projects.
Projects are to be managed in prevailing environment which are often complex and dynamic in nature. In recent years, advancement in managerial concepts, practices and emergence of a number of techniques which have significantly contributed towards effective Project Management have drawn attention of Practicing Managers, Project Planners, Project Consultants, Project Contractors, Researchers and Academicians. These developments cover all the aspects of Project Management, viz., Project Identification, Appraisal, Implementation, Monitoring and Control procedures including Management Information System both with and without the use of computer. However computer oriented project management has accelerated the growth in the field.
