Objectives: It is likely that India will adopt IFRS in the near future. Second generation Indian Accounting Standards are in convergence with IFRS. Therefore, there is an urgent need to understand accounting principles and methods stipulated in IFRS. This programme will provide an opportunity to hone up understanding IFRS. It will also compare IFRS with US GAAP.
