Objectives: The programme aims to develop a good understanding of the strategic implications and methods of utilizing design effectively by cost reduction and differentiation to compete in hyper competitive industries.
Important analytical techniques for developing business strategies and effective processes for using design strategically will be covered jointly by NID and IIMB faculty.

For: The program is meant for executives at middle to senior level management who are holding charge (or are likely to soon assume charge) of a strategic business unit. They may be involved in strategy and design related initiatives such as new product development or improvement, brand building, corporate image and quality enhancement / benchmarking.

Contents: The key topics given below cover the analytical, behavioral and creative aspects of design and strategy. Case study presentation cum design analyses method will be used in most of the sessions.
