DocSuggest, now renamed as Ziffi raises $2.4 Million from Orios Venture

Online booking platform for doctors, beauty salons and health check-ups has raised $ 2.4 Million from Orios Venture.

The company had raised angel funding of Rs. 5 crores from Rajan Anandan and others in April last year. The company will use the funds to expand its network of service providers, strengthen technology interface, enhance design and for marketing campaigns.


DocSuggest a Mumbai based company started in 2009 by Shantanu Jha, Keerthi Chennupati, Anshuman Pandey and Pushkar Soni provides users a platform to explore, choose and obtain informed decisions to take care of their health needs. It lists doctors on the basis of specialisation and location, diagnostic laboratories for health check-ups and offers appointment booking.
 

DocSuggest which is changing its brand name to Ziffi claims to have 15,000 doctors, 5,000 hospitals and clinics onboard. Till date it has completed 2.5 lakh appointments with registered base of 1.2 million users across Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
