Experifun and Sudiksha raise seedfunding from Pearson and Village Capital

Pearson Affordable learning fund and Village Capital have invested $ 150,000 in Experifun and Sudiksha Knowledge Solutions.

 

Experifun started by IIM/IIT alumnus is working with schools, teachers and parents to make science fun, easy and enjoyable.

They have bought out kits called Caboodle for grades between 3rd to 8th in CBSE, ICSE, IB and state boards syllabus. The box will contain experiments and activities for that grade and one box will be sufficient for each class. This will help teachers engage students by providing tools to demonstrate, conduct interactive experiments, simplify science concepts and making learning fun.

 

Sudiksha Knowledge Solutions started by Naveen Kumar and Nimisha Mittal in 2010 is a social entrepreneurship who want to bring about a revolution in education to the Bottom of the Pyramid category of people. Sudiksha is providing quality education at affordable cost. Sudiksha runs 18 schools in Andhra Pradesh, 12 in Hyderabad and 6 in rural Andhra Pradesh. The schools promote the concept of ‘Learning by doing” and not only on the premise of class room teaching.
