Snapdeal raises $100 Million from Blackrock, Temasek and others

Snapdeal an online retailer has raised $ 100 Million from a group of investors including BlackRock Financial management, Temasek, Myraid Asset Management , Tybourne Capital Management and existing investor Premji invest..

Snapdeal had recently raised $ 134 Million from eBay and other existing investors like Kalaari Capital, Nexus venture Partners, Bessemer Venture partners etc.


Snapdeal which started as a online deal site has morphed into a full fledged e-commerce company. The company has acquired several comanoes including doozton.com, shopo.in, grabbon.com and esportsbuy.com. Snapdeal’s marketplace has more than 20,000 sellers with over 4 million products and the company recently forayed into services eCommerce with learning and education space.
