Executive Management Programme (EMP) The Programme The programme is targeted towards the working executives and entrepreneurs who have not had an opportunity to learn the latest managerial tools and techniques through formal management education. Apart from filling up this gap, it will equip managers for assuming higher responsibilities in performing their tasks more efficiently and effectively in the context of changed domestic and international business environment. Recognized as the most accepted programme in the country, EMP is a rigorous, demanding and satisfying programme to the students. It attracts the best talent from Corporate in the National Capital Region. Objective of the Programme Develop global perspective on various managerial issues. Develop conceptual knowledge on the subject and behavioral skills of managers. Enhance entrepreneurial capabilities and business leadership. Develop collaborative attitude and sensitivity for group learning and problem solving. Programme Structure The 3-year (9-term) Executive Management Programme is at par with the regular PGPM programme (in its coverage and rigour). Each year is divided into four terms. A term is of twelve-week duration. Classes are held 3-days a week (on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) in the first year. Thereafter classes are held on each day depending upon electives chosen. It is possible to complete the programme in less than three years.
