IIMU to host its first Finance Symposium: ARTH-SAMVAAD

pdfIIMU Jan 9, 2013:IIM Udaipur, January 9, 2013: Finomina – The Finance club of IIM Udaipur is hosting its first Finance Symposium, “Arth-Samvaad” on the 3rd of March 2013 at Udaipur. Following the success of the Leadership Summit last year, the institute is revved up and ready to go for this event.
The symposium is expected to be chaired by eminent policymakers and business leaders from the financial world. The topic for discussion for the symposium is “Are Indian Businesses decoupled from the rest of the world”. The event has received enthusiastic interest from the student community, as they can participate in the symposium through a paper presentation competition and would be presenting in front of the eminent panel during the symposium.
Prof. Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, expressed his elation over this initiative by the Finance Club and is confident about the success of the event. He quipped, “Post the success of the Leadership Summit, which was entirely organized by the student community, I am certain that Arth-Samvaad would be as big as it gets”. Further, he added that events like this provide a robust platform for interaction between the students and the industry, which is the need of the hour for budding managers.
