    ORACLE Academic Initiative

    BIM has also recently registered for the ORACLE Academic Initiative. This initiative will provide valuable benefits by way of access to the latest Oracle software, state-of-the-art Oracle curriculum, faculty training, certification resources and free membership to Oracle Technology Network (OTN).

    Hostels & Associated Facilities

    The course is fully residential with accommodation in three bedroom flats separately for boys & girls located in Nehru Nagar within the BHEL Complex. Every student is provided with an exclusive Internet port in their rooms with 24 hrs accesses to Internet facilities.

    A mess attached to the hostel provides quality multi-cuisine food. A recreation room with TV and Video facilities has been provided for the entertainment of the students.

    The Mess and other welfare activities in the hostels are managed solely by student committees.

    Curriculum

    BIM's curriculum is periodically revised and restructured to meet the needs of an ever-changing business environment. Experienced professionals from the Industry and Academics take part in this exercise of restructuring. BIM follows a trimester pattern of evaluation. The first year of the course provides rigorous grounding in all fields of management. The second year operates on cafeteria approach wherein the student is allowed to choose from a range of courses. As a part of academics, students are given variety of case studies and project works to enhance their diagnostic and decision making skills.
