Admission Process
All the candidates have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted jointly by the six IIM's.

Reservation OF Seats for PGP and PGP-ABM
As per the Government of India requirements,15% and 7.5% of the seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates respectively who meet IIMA's admission requirements. Scholarships are also available to the SC/ST candidates. Needy SC/ST candidates also get part fee waiver. 3% seats are reserved for candidates with disability as per the Persons with Disability Act,1995, who meet the admission requirement.

Financial Assistance
IIMA has instituted a need based scholarship scheme from its own resources to help its economically weak PGP/PGP-ABM students. Scholarship amounts are fixed on the basis of annual gross family income/Parental asset ownership, no of dependents etc.

Fees and Expenses
Yearly Expenses on tuition, library, computer, room, board, teaching Material, and other fees are about Rs.1,75,000 per year. Personal Expenses on travel, clothes and laundry will be extra.

3. Fellow Programme in Management

FPM is a unique doctoral programme in management which aims to develop individuals into distinguished researchers, consultants, managers and teachers in the field of management. It has been internationally recognized as equivalent to Ph.D in management.

Eligibilty

  • Candidate should be a Post Graduate in any discipline or should possess a professional qualification like CA,ICWA or CS with at least 55% of marks,
    OR

  • Those who have a BE/BTech degree with at least 60% marks are eligible. Final year BE/BTech degree students may also apply.

Admission Process for FPM

  • All Indian Nationals whether resident in India or Abroad can take CAT. If the candidate has taken CAT last year or the year before he is eligible to apply. In that case mention the center code, year of CAT examination and CAT registration number.
