Pedagogy

ISME has full-time course work of 30 courses followed by industry training and Six Sigma Certification. The latest teaching pedagogy that has been adopted from the top American management schools is being followed here at ISME. Each course has a combination of theoretical teaching, exercises, case studies and industry guest lectures.

ISME has a very unique format of 6 terms being covered in one year. Five courses are covered in each term of eight weeks. This is followed by a management consulting project. This course design, which has been adopted from management schools like Carnegie Mellon University and Purdue University, allows students both a focused and broad based learning experience.

ISME uses a sophisticated online course management system similar to what is used by top international management schools. This allows the learning activity to continue beyond the classroom. There are number of industry visits to further connect the classroom teaching to real life situations.

Eligibility

Students seeking admission to this program should have passed Bachelor's / Master's Degree Examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

For the PGPM with Marketing or Finance Specialization, candidate should have Graduation with aggregate 55% marks and should have appeared for any national-level management exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT or ISME Aptitude Test. Work experience will be an important consideration for admissions.

For the PGPM with IT Specialization, candidate should be Engineering Graduate or Computer Science Graduate or student with work experience in IT. Demonstrated technical competencies through CST Exam (I, D or G Level) or ISTM Entrance Test on day of interview.

For the EPGPM, students should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Admission Process

In order to apply, the following steps need to be followed: -

2. Resume.

3. Copy of official academic transcripts / marks card for graduate degree and 12th & 10th standard examination.

4. GMAT / CAT / XAT / MAT Scores or any other national management aptitude test score or ISME Aptitude Test Scores.

5. Written Essay
