Application Submission

Academic Credentials: If you submit your application by post, copies of certificates from all post-secondary institutions are required.
If you submit your application online, certificates from all post-secondary institutions are to be scanned and attached.

Financial Documentation: As part of your application process, you will be required to provide information in narrative form as to how you plan to meet the financial obligations, if you are selected. If you intend to avail education loan scheme with banks, please indicate the same. This narration should be provided only in the prescribed space in the application.

Guidelines
1. The application form, complete in all respects and accompanied by all the required documents as specified in the application should be sent, in the envelope provided, to the address: Officer-Admissions, SMOT, 53, Veerabadran Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai-600034.
2. The application should reach SMOT by the due date mentioned.
3. Please note NOT to attach any other documents - such as degree, diploma or any other certificates, in the original - to the application. Only photocopies of the original certificates need to be sent.
4. Applicants are informed that the application review process is likely to be delayed until all required credentials are received.
5. Applicants should retain a copy of the filled-in application and the essays they have enclosed for their reference. The applicants may inquire about the status of their application by sending a mail to - pgpmadmissions@smot.edu.in - or by calling +91-44-23450700.

Application Selection

Criteria for Short Listing: Consistency in academic performance in all examinations starting from secondary school board to the qualifying degree will be important criteria for short listing. Clarity of purpose in pursuing management program in SMOT as evidenced by the Statement of Purpose, essays and letters of reference may form the basis for calling you for Group Activity and Personal Interview. Applicants are welcome to contact our Admissions Office for any clarification prior to submission of the application. They may give preference, if any, for scheduling their personal interview and group activity.
