CSR Summit to be Held at XIM, Bhubaneswar

Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar is organizing a one day CSR submit. The objective of summit is to discuss on Responsible Business Behavior (RBB) and communicate about CSR activities at a broader level and to all stakeholders.

The very objective of the entire exercise will be to acquaint the students of Management to know what kind of Responsible Business Behaviour the Corporate/Business Houses should discharge so that the impacted people can benefited from the same and no adverse effects caused by the business houses remains unaddressed. This one day deliberation will also have a telling effect on the students who can know about the concept of RBB and the status of its practice by the industrial houses in the state. This will immensely help the students to have their basics clear about the concept so that in their later part of life when they take up assignments in the Corporate Sectors, this orientation for the students will be extremely useful in ensuring discharging Responsible Business Behaviour by the companies where they will be working in. The entire exercise will be moderated by Prof. A. B. Ota, Director, Tribal Research Institute, Orissa.

The Summit would be followed by tribal dance and corporate dinner. Apart from this, there will be sand art painting in XIMB campus on the theme of Rehabilitation, which is a major issue for companies doing CSR.
