Annual Leadership Summit 2004 Mr. Alan said that India is poised for an interesting time in business. Mr. Alan said that to become a successful international organization today, an organization needs to get out into the streets, learn, understand the culture, build sound processes and recognize its weaknesses. Mr. Alan expressed confidence in the fine talent in India and said Indians can manage across borders successfully but it has to be done with humility. The ISB Icon Awards 2004 were presented to Mr. Anil Ambani and Mr. K. V. Kamath to recognize their invaluable contributions to the Indian School of Business.
