The ISB K-Hub is designed to support a variety of entrepreneurs - those who are in the ideate stage including those currently resident in incubators. It will support the start up and growth of high technology ventures and act as a gateway to a range of business development services, all under one roof.

The ISB K-Hub will commence activities within the ISB campus as a combined physical and virtual facilities/access model. The Industries Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh will actively support the K-Hub in the first few years. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has also agreed to contribute to the initial corpus of the Germination Fund.

Professor K. Ramachandran, Professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the ISB said, "The K-Hub will mentor entrepreneurs and create a successful entrepreneurial pool through unifying a range of global business development services".

The K-Hub will initially focus on creation of high quality entrepreneurship in Information Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Material Sciences and Agro-processing industries. It will support entrepreneurs by leveraging relationships with key service providers such as research centres, project consultants, business development service providers, business mentors and the ISB's knowledge network.
