Talking about the experience, Kumar Anand said: "It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, share and interact, standing at an equal platform with some of the best management brains from across the globe. Equally stimulating were the queries raised by the International delegates about the Indian economy. These International representations help lay a firmer foundation in building a stronger and more powerful - India Inc brand. One must be proactive, going beyond 'thought-leadership' to 'action-leadership'." Kumar added: "I would also like to thank my sponsors Standard Chartered Bank, RSB Ltd, TelCon and CTC Pvt Ltd for their much needed financial assistance. Also, I'm indebted to Ms. Vandana Dadel, MD, AIADA for her timely guidance and constant support in helping me out with the modalities involved. But for her strong involvement, attending this Conference would have remained a dream."

Kumar has been active at other forums as well. He won the first prize in a Paper that he had presented at IIM Bangalore. Besides, another Paper of his was selected in the World Congress on Disaster Management held at New Delhi. As an Engineering student and in capacity as the Chairman, IEEE-BIT, Mesra, Ranchi, Kumar had organized India's first International Technical Meet cum Conference, "International Unnayan 2003" for Engineering students.
