IIM Ahmedabad to Hold Annual Cultural Festival Chaos 2006
A Curtain Raiser
January 26-29, 2006

As the country announces herself a Republic on the 26th of the month, the city of Ahmedabad will proudly stand host to students from all over the country for IIMA's cultural extravaganza: Chaos. With theme Moksha to offer its fun-filled 'liberation' to management students caught in the curriculum, Chaos 2006 from 26th to 29th January promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Over 30,000 students from all over India are expected to participate in the myriad events on display. A landmark event in Ahmedabad's calendar, Chaos Moksha this year is an attraction not only for the students but cuts across age boundaries to appeal to all and sundry with its platter full!

'Come - get blissed...'

Chaos is a grand celebration and a change to let one's creativity, talent and enthusiasm loose... The mix of events at Chaos ensures that there is something in it for everyone. Some may find their bliss in dramatics, others in dance and music; still others would like to spend their time attacking managerial problems. The events include dramatics, fine arts, choreographed dances, musicals, fashion shows and literary events. The evenings can be spent away swaying to the latest strains from rock bands like Jal, Strings and Sivamani. For the classically inclined, there are performances by Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash.

Like we said - something for everyone!

Planned and executed by a team of 150 students from IIMA, the event has these organizers on their toes. Apart from the Core Team - a select group that handles all key decision and execution issues - there are scores of volunteers involved during the actual fest. The students organizing the events take up this additional responsibility over and above the already grueling academic schedule.
