MICA Hosts Budget Talk by Mr. Y. K. Alagh, Former Planning Commission Member & Union Minister Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) hosted an insightful budget talk by Former Member of Planning Commission and Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Yogendra K. Alagh, on Thursday. The eminent economist, while sharing his views on various aspects of the budget 2006-07, praised the Finance Minister for "doing a large number of things well" by presenting a budget that pushes growth. Issues like industrial clustering, deficits, FII-FDI trade-offs, impact on agricultural sector and public-private partnerships were highlighted during the talk.
