NMIMS, Mumbai Stages Rahul DaCunha's 'Class of 84'

As a prelude to Euphoria '06, NMIMS in association with Rage Productions, staged the 'Class of 84', directed by Rahul DaCunha and featuring a cast of acclaimed actors like Rajit Kapoor, Zafar Karachiwala, Rituraj and Shenaz Patel at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle on Tuesday, 7th March.

Class of '84 is a roller coaster ride about friendship filled with humour, madness and nostalgia. Seven friends meet twenty-two years after they had graduated from St. Xaviers College. They reuite because an eighth friend has died. After the funeral, they spend one long evening together at Kashid.

Memories are re-lived, old tensions re-surface and suspense is created when a stranger appears at the door. Who is he, and how does he know so much about their dead friend?

The show was a house full and the performances did complete justice to the expectations of the audiences.

Next in the series of big events is a special screening of Rang De Basanti for the Euphorics and an interactive session with the cast and the director of the film, Rakeysh OmPrakash Mehra on the 9th, Thursday.
