IMI launches 11-month Postgraduate Diploma Program in Knowledge Management As a prelude to this programme, IMI is organising a two day roundtable conference on knowledge management during 26-27 July 2005 where several leading companies and experts are being invited to share their approaches and ideas respectively on knowledge management, Dr. A. Sengupta, Director of the roundtable conference added. IMI faculty strength has gone up by 50% in 2005 from 27 to 41 and their salaries by 35% more than that of IIMs and IITs. Over 60% of IMI faculty have studied or worked abroad and hold postgraduate and doctoral degrees from Oxford, Harvard, Manchester, Wharton, Cornell, Yale, Rochester, Maryland, etc. Almost an equal percentage have industrial exposure too. Several of IMI students have also pursued higher studies in North America and work in such IVY league institutions like MIT Sloan School of Management and Chicago Business School. IMI alumni is also holding senior management positions in McKinsey Knowledge Centre, Citi Bank and other institutions internationally.
