FMS, Delhi to Organize Commodities Market Workshop - Commodex
Scheduled for July 29-30, 2006 at FMS, University of Delhi, South Campus

Finesse, the Finance Society of MBA (Management of Services) Program at Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, South Campus, is organising Commodex - a Two Day Workshop on Commodity Markets - to be conducted by National Commodity Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).

This initiative aims to educate the participants about this fast emerging trading platform.

Spread over two days, divided into three sessions, the workshop will cover various aspects of the commodity markets to generate an in-depth understanding of its functioning and live trading on the NCDEX platform.

The workshop will be conducted in the FMS Auditorium at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, South Campus, on the 29th and 30th of July, 2006. Participation is open to all interested candidates / management students. The schedule for the workshop is as follows: -

9th July, 2006, Saturday
Session I : 10:00 am - 2:00 pm : Introduction & Trading on NCDEX Platform
Lunch : 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Session II : 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm : Margin Requirements, Clearing & Settlement
High Tea : After 5:30 pm

30th July,2006, Sunday
Session III : 10:30 am - 1:30 pm : Pricing Commodity Derivatives

All participants shall be issued certificates, duly authorised by NCDEX.

Registration cost is Rs. 200 per person, which should be paid in cash latest by 28th July 2006. On the spot registration (only on 29th July, 2006 before 10 am) will be allowed only in case of availability of seats.
