FMS, Delhi Set to Surpass Last Year’s Placement Records

With Final Placements at FMS Delhi, India’s First Business School, a good five months away and barely two months into the new academic session, the Class of 2007 has already started making waves in the corporate world. The exclusive batch of 90 students has bagged Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) from some of the finest companies in the corporate world.

The batch is all set to surpass last year’s number of 22 PPOs in no time.

The latest addition to the PPO list is HSBC, which offered the highest domestic salary of Rs. 14.5 lakhs on campus last year. Top recruiters which have once again reposed their faith in FMS include Tata Administrative Services (TAS), GE Money, Hindustan Lever Limited, Maruti Udyog Ltd., amongst others. Edelweiss Capital and ICICI Prudential have already announced Pre Placement Interviews for the students of FMS.

The quality of the students is reflected in the fact that most companies have made offers to every student of FMS who has interned with them. With HLL, making offers for both their niche Global Leadership Trainee Profile as well as their Commercial Operations, the cross functional knowledge of the FMSites is beyond doubt.

Placement Advisor, MBA, FMS, Dr. Madhu Vij says that the students have once again proved to the outside world the quality of education and intense learning environment that they experience here at FMS. The stage is all set for the Summer Placements of 2006 with FMS Delhi all set to break new frontiers.
