Xpressions 2006 at XIMB Concluded in a Riot of Colours, Lights & Sounds
Post-event Press-release

A riot of colours, an explosion of light and sound, people running around all the time, black t-shirts with Aditya Birla logos flashing prominently, the mess full of people all the time, a huge crowd milling around the stage, stalls selling food, games, games and more games, loud speakers blaring,
late starts to almost every event, unforeseen hitches, last minute solutions, noise, music, laughter, confusion, entertainment and lots of learning. This was Xpressions 2006.

Four days, from the 2nd to the 5th of November, was what defined XIM this year. A variety of events across a myriad spectrum ensured that there was never a dull moment. Starting off with Helios, a first-of-its-kind game for under-graduates in XIM, the purpose was to ensure that they could get a taste of what an MBA was like, before actually entering a B-school. The event was very well-received and participants learnt a lot throughout the game and promised to come back the next year too. Conclave, the forum for discussion, also took place on the same day, with a distinguished panel comprising of Mr. Mukherjee, the Assistant Editor of Business Week acting as moderator, Mr. Pal, a Member of Parliament belonging to the CPI (M) party, Mr. V. K. Timothia, a Non-Exectuive Director on the board of Vedanta and Mr. V. S. Jain, the MD of Jindal Stainless.
