NMIMS' Annual B-school Festival 'Paragana' to Take-off
Themed "Corporate Chrysalis", it aims to highlight the comprehensive change in the conduct of business
Commences on November 18, 2006

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed University), in its 25th year of celebrated existence, presents the biggest ever 'Paragana' - its Annual B-school Festival.
Paragana, the three-day event that attracts participation from top B-schools across the country, commences on November 18, 2006.

The theme for Paragana this year is "Corporate Chrysalis", which is an effort to delve into the evolution of Corporate India. A three-day long affair, Paragana present a brilliant blend of thought provoking seminar sessions, thrilling business simulation games, convergence of expertise and intellect of thought leaders with the exuberance of the student community.

The event begins on an intellectually stimulating note with a strategically designed Business Simulation Game for corporates and students. The various other events include - Parrija, the Case Study & Paper Writing Competition; Paricharcha - a first of its kind inter B-school Debate Competition; Navratna - the Equity Research Competition for market enthusiasts among others.

The first two days of the event would be followed by perspective-building sessions on the emergence of the current breed of 'Citizen Corporate' and the 'Metamorphosis of the Social Pyramid' along with a debate on 'Bottom-line Ethics'.

Keeping with its tradition, Paragana 2006 will see a assembly of eminent leaders from diverse fields including such luminaries as, Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Aptech Ltd., Mr. R. R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra, Mr. Narendra Ambwani, MD - Johnson & Johnson, and Mr. Prashant Gupta, Country Head, Sahara.
