Mr. Ravi Bhoothalingam Addressing IMI Students

In his distinguished career, Mr. Bhoothalingam has served as the President of The Oberoi Group as well as the BAT Plc. as Head of Personnel, VST Industries Ltd. as Managing Director and ITC Ltd. as Director. He has travelled extensively in China, which he consistently referred to as the Central Kingdom and is also the Convener of The Tourism Task Force for the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Forum, ‘The Kunming Initiative’.

"Confucius, Gandhi & the Rise of Chindia", focused on the rise and fall of China as well as India’s lack or even absence of knowledge about this great ‘Central Kingdom’. With native fluency in 6 different languages, this profound gentlemen enthralled the audience with a description of the ‘effects of a language in forming a country, a civilization’.
